Unfortunately, they are not designed for load shedding which is a big disadvantage these days. One of the flashlights didn't work, and the other rechargeable flashlight barely lasts an hour before it's almost so dim you can't see anymore. Although the bedding was clean, there were stains on it and the glassware was dirty, I asked the next morning to change it, however the glassware was put back just as dirty.
Solo stay for a few days and I spent a lot of time in my room, which was comfortable and private. Easy access to the Promenade and the Waterfront which I enjoyed, and the breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
I had a wonderful stay - the service was fantastic, delicious breakfast and the owner is a man of a thousand!
Stephen and Greg are on their game and made us feel very welcome at The Villa Rosa. The quality of the breakfasts was excellent and the room was of a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return for another stay in the near future.
Beautiful old Cape house with interesting history and Steven was an excellent host and accommodated us even though there was a problem with our booking.

Incredible room, service and breakfast!
Breakfast somewhat skimpy. When yogurt is finished you just don't get it. Bath towels very small. Very nice and comfortable accommodation. Nice walk to the promenade.
Very nice was quiet, but busy time of year.
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Rosa. Their excellent team made us feel at home from the moment we arrived until we departed. The rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. My little Yorkie was accommodated as one of the guests and received the same excellent service and treatment. We will recommend Villa Rose to all our friends and family and will definitely visit again! Thank you for excellent service.
